THE GRAPE
100% Tinta de Toro from vines planted between 1900 and 1920.
ELABORATION
Natural spontaneous fermentation without added sulphates in open stainless steel tanks with temperature regulation.
Pellicular maceration for 3 weeks with two pump-oversdaily and two final delestages.
AGEING
24 months in 225–litre, 100% new, French oak barrels.
THE WINE
An extremely deep cherry. Especially potent and captivating aromas of ripe black fruits, liquorice, black pepper with balsamic and mineral tones, and a touch of a great cigar. Particularly strong in the mouth with surprising balance and harmony.
A singular and unique Tinta de Toro, an impressive and memorable red.
