THE GRAPE


100% Tinta de Toro from vines planted between 1900 and 1920.

ELABORATION


Natural spontaneous fermentation without added sulphates in open stainless steel tanks with temperature regulation.
Pellicular maceration from 22 to 25 days with manual punching down twice daily.

AGEING


30 months in 225–litre, 100% new, French oak barrels.

THE WINE


An extremely deep cherry. Especially potent and captivating aromas of ripe black fruits, liquorice, black pepper with balsamic and mineral tones, and a touch of a great cigar. Particularly strong in the mouth with surprising balance and harmony.
A singular and unique Tinta de Toro, an impressive and memorable red.
